Marbella is situated on the Mediterranean Sea, between Malaga and Gibraltar on the foothills of the Sierra Blanca. It is bordered by Istan and Ojen municipalities on the North, Benahavis on the Northwest, West Estepona and Northeast by Mijas whereas the sea remains to the South.
Marbella’s famous Golden Mile is a 6 km long strip of land that stretches from the Western way out of Marbella, until Puerto Banus.
This name Golden Mile was coined in the mid 90’s, as the recognition of the amount of wealth, luxury, glamor, and therefore price of real estate, concentrated on this piece of land.

Nagueles, with a very good location, close to both Marbella’s city center and Puerto Banus, and in the neighborhood of the famous landmarks that are the 5 star hotels Puente Romano and Marbella Club, and their sand beaches, Nagueles is a very good option when it comes to buying a property in Marbella. Prices are not as high as those of its immediate neighborhood.
San Pedro is a small city by the sea located in between Puerto Banus/Nueva Andalucia on the East, and Guadalmina on the West.
